We are People of Action

Our members volunteer their time and skills to directly improve the quality of life in our community, addressing local needs through hands-on service and collaborations with other organizations, all while embodying the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self."

Rotarians volunteering at Gateway Park is an example of the service projects we take on. We do clean-up, weeding, planting, mulching, and shoveling gravel on a regular basis to ensure that visitors have a warm and beautiful welcome to downtown.

Other examples include:

Club Members provided 60 volunteer hours to build a tiny house with the Community Boat Project’s Shelter from the Storm Program. We built shelves, we painted, and even provided barbecue lunches for the construction team!

On a Habitat for Humanity Build our Rotary Club members worked side-by-side with Habitat homeowners, helping these families build stability and self-reliance and ensuring everyone has a decent place to live.

We are always looking for projects that:

  • Provide an opportunity for the club to partner with others in the community.
  • Provide hands-on experiences for the club members.
  • Provide club fellowship during the performance of the project.

If you have a project you would like us to consider, please contact us.
