02/12 Callay Boire-Shedd “The S Word”
Boire-Shedd chose suicide prevention as her senior class project that began with a screening at Port Townsend High School on Thursday of "The S Word," a documentary that was shown at last year's Port Townsend Film Festival. The documentary follows people who have attempted to take their own lives and survived to tell their stories of loneliness and depression. They are now committed to preventing others from getting to the edge.

David Timmons has been the City’s first and only City Manager for the last 20 years. But do you really know what the City Manager does? David will help us better understand this as well as outline what will be the challenges for the next City Manager? Also he will explain to us what can we do to help the next City Manager be successful.
