Our exchange student, Nicolas, will give us an update about his time in Port Townsend to date. We’ll ask him what type of activities/outings he would like to participate in with assistance from club members. The auction committee will show a video about the Imagination Library, our 2020 Auction Fund-a-Cause.
Every wooden boat has a soul, fed by the people who build her. Steve Stanton was a member of the American boatbuilding crew invited by the 2019 Australian Wooden Boat Festival to build a boat representative of American maritime heritage. He and his wife, Sue, will speak to their nearly 3 month experience in Tasmania. Two humble perspectives of building a boat and connecting community across 8,000 miles.
