The
Port
Townsend
Rotary
Club
is
once
again
hosting
an
Online
Auction,
March
15
–
27,
2021.
Last
year,
even
with
a
last-minute
change
to
an
online
format,
we
were
excited
to
have
raised
$43,000
from
our
generous
sponsors
and
passionate
donors.
We
also
extended our reach to MANY new people and organizations locally and farther afield.
Working
with
the
COVID-19
Emergency
Response
Fund
at
the
Jefferson
Community
Foundation,
last
year’s
funds
were
given
to
support
organizations
in
Jefferson
County
that
provided
food,
shelter,
financial
support
and
mental
health
services
to
those
impacted
by
the
pandemic
and
related
economic
issues.
We
also
supported
scholarships
for
four
local
young
people
to
attend
college
and,
with
the
help
of
a
Rotary
matching
grant,
some
of
our
club’s
money
and
volunteer
hours
are
working
to
support
a
Teen
Center in Jefferson County.
This
year
the
funds
raised
will
continue
to
support
local
agencies
and
programs
that
provide
essential
services
for
families
and
young people in need.

President’s Message
Hello
to
our
Beloved
Community.
Well
this
year
2020
is
over
and
a
very
strange
year,
indeed.
In
2020
we
transitioned
to
an
online
auction,
and
we're
looking
forward
to
another
online
auction
in
2021.
The
auction
will
be
held
March
15
to
the
27th.
Our
theme
of
the
auction
is
"Imagination
the
Possibilities"
and
the
goals
this
year
are
to
support
youth
programs
in
Port
Townsend
and
our
Fund
a
Cause
will
be
Dolly
Parton’s
Imagination
Library.
We
hope
you
will
tell
all
of
your
friends,
relatives
and
everyone
you
know.
I
thank
you
in
advance
for
supporting
our
goal for the 2021 online Rotary auction.

Welcome to the Port Townsend
Annual Silent Auction
“Imagination the Possibilities”
Silent Auction is Monday – Saturday
March 15 – 27, 2021
Auction Chair Message
Thank you for supporting the Port Townsend Rotary Club online auction. This year, in addition to our 10-day Silent
Auction, we will host a Fund-A-Cause evening on March 21st, to establish Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for
children in the Jefferson County area.
The
Imagination
Library
is
a
well-established
book-gifting
program
for
preschool
children
(birth
to
age
5)
that
has
supported
over
1,700,000
children
in
the
US,
and
provided
over
145
million
books:
one
a
month
mailed
directly
to
each
child.
Remember
what
fun
it
was
to
receive
mail
in
your
name
when
you
were
a
kid?
Each
month
an
age-
appropriate
book
will
be
mailed
to
the
enrolled
child’s
home
at
no
cost
to
the
parent.
In
this
time
of
disruptions,
a
handheld
book,
being
read
to
them
by
a
caring
family
member,
is
an
excellent
way
to
help
maximize
a
child’s
personal security and growth and to forge bonds within the family.
So please bid to help us make this happens for children in Jefferson County.
